The Shih Tzu has a brachycephalic jaw type, with a short muzzle and crowded teeth. This makes the Shih Tzu susceptible to dental disease. The boomerang design of the SHIH TZU PUPPY kibble makes it easier for the flat-faced Shih Tzu to pick up and chew, and helps minimize plaque formation to promote dental health.

Digestive Health
Digestive health is essential during the puppy phase; the digestive system is not yet fully developed and cannot absorb nutrients in the same way as adult dog's.
